Fourteenth Sunday after Pentecost
Christ speaks to us in our Gospel reading to take the “lowest seat” at a wedding feast. For the humble will be exalted and the exalted humbled. In Christ’s humility we are exalted to partake of the heavenly feast of the Lamb in Heaven.
