We have three readings today, all point at dramatic changes caused by God’s power at work. In Kings 17, Elijah prays and God restores life to a dead boy. In Galatians 1, we have Paul’s conversion. The Gospel tells us about the widow’s son whom Jesus restored to life. Such is the power of God!

The Lord needs to accomplish one more task:  to rebuild Peter. Three times He asks him whether he LOVED Him (Agape).  Three times Peter says he only LIKES him (Philia). But, aided by the Holy Spirit, Peter never again denied Jesus. He ultimately died for his faith.
