Preach from pulpit

When people get together with the purpose to meet with their God, to thank Him for His blessings and to ask for His guidance in their lives we call it a worship service. Since God does all the work in a worship service it is also called Divine Service. We at Blessed Savior follow the liturgies of the Lutheran Church – Missouri Synod as found in the Lutheran Service Book.

These traditional service settings are familiar, reverent and, we feel, enhances the setting for the proclamation of God’s Word. We believe the most important part of our Worship service is God serving us with His gifts; forgiveness, life and salvation. Second is our service to God in thanksgiving and praise for all that He has done. For more information on Lutheran Worship please see LCMS/Lutheran Worship.

The themes for every Sunday come from the Bible and Christian tradition dating back 3,000 years. The themes and texts of every one of the 182 regularly scheduled services are provided for you in the Worship Calendar which can be downloaded here –
2017 Worship Calendar.
