Preschool and Childcare Programs

3 Year-Old Preschool Class

Monday and Wednesday 9:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.
Tuesday and Thursday 9:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.

• Spiritual. Develop and grow in faith and a relationship with God. Knowing that Jesus is our Friend, singing praises to God, simple prayers, chapel services and Bible stories.
• Science. Explore science tools, use five senses, observe weather and identify basic colors
• Literacy. Recognize first names, listen to and retell stories, follow simple two-step directions.
• Math Exploration. Recognize shapes, count and recognize numbers, sort shapes, complete simple puzzles.
• Social/Emotional Skills. Separate from parents, develop friendships, share toys, take turns, try new activities, explore opportunities to make choices and develop a love for learning
• Physical Skills. Manipulate brushes, crayons and glue, participate in large motor play like jumping, running, catching, bouncing and throwing, and develop motor skills using blocks, playdough etc.

4 Year-Old Preschool Extended

Monday – Friday 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

• Spiritual. Develop and grow in faith and a relationship with God. Knowing that Jesus is our Friend, singing praises to God, simple prayers, chapel services and Bible stories.
• Science. Explore science tools, use five senses, observe weather and identify basic colors
• Literacy. Recognize first names, listen to and retell stories, follow simple two-step directions.

Childcare (Ages 2 – 6)

Flexible wrap around care from 7:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.

Blessed Savior Childcare hours are very flexible and you only pay for the hours that you use. Children can stay as little as 30 minutes to a full day and anywhere in between! If your child is registered to be in a preschool class, teachers will pick up your child from childcare and return them to childcare after preschool has ended.

Our daily schedule works with unit themes similar to those in our 3K and 4K classes. The schedule is a bit more flexible and includes more playtime than the regular preschool day. Children are encouraged to participate in a variety of activities. Snack and lunch time allow for children to interact with their friends!
