Helping Hands Bulgaria is a Christian mission that was created in response to the great physical, emotional and spiritual losses the Bulgarians experienced as a result of almost fifty years of Communism. Linda Phillips, a member of Blessed Savior is a very active part of this organization. Although Helping Hands Bulgaria is LCMS approved, it does not receive any funding through the synod and depends solely on the donations from supporters to supply and ship needed items including clothing, medical supplies, toys and religious printed materials. Helping Hands aims to assist the most vulnerable in Bulgaria by providing compassionate support and resources that address the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of both the young and the old.
