The Apostle Paul teaches us that when Christ comes into our lives, things change. There is a great conversion. The before and after are clearly perceptible. As children of the light, we expose the unfruitful works of darkness and produce good works bathed in Christ’s light.
Grace is undeserved love. Paul instructs us in the pure grace of God. While we were ungodly, Christ died for us. This is encouraging. In our task of proclaiming the Gospel. Christ died for all!
The essence of the Gospel – Good News for Us – is God’s love. Jesus has an audience of one, but the Good News is for all!

Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of Lent, a forty-day period before Easter (not counting the Sundays in Lent). The focus of Lent is the sincerity of our relationship with God. We undertake the disciplines of Lent: self-examination, introspection, contrition, repentance and the confession of sins. The Lord grant us His peace!
